Wow man. I could really use this. How is it done, seriously? Did you recode anything? Or a new .fpi script?

Is it done somehow by placing the lights sideways?

However you've done it, it's amazing.

Can't wait for the release.

Cone/cylinder objects with an invisible texture, right?

Sorry to spill the beans (I think) but that's the only way I can imagine doing it - and I've done it I don't know about you but I still had issues with the lighting on the weapon. Not to mention they blocked you from moving, but that usually isn't a problem if they are small/out of reach.

Vote today and play the games!

Cone/cylinder??Huh???

Joke yes your most correct.I knew some one would know...I just wanted to see he rest of the guys reactions.LOL However I just wanted to share this with every one get the stuff 100% FPSC ready.Apply a nice little red texture to it that says spot light make a few angles for the guys to use and I'm done.

Yes it is however limited in where you can place it.So the idea I had was a simple little tutorial explaining where the best possible place would be to put it.

I still think it's a great idea for faking spot lights. However Another idea I had was to model a spot light that Fakes spot lighting....

Weapon lighting no problem what so ever....

may you please post a picture diagram (or fpsc editor view) of how you accomplished this effect.

what I did...

I made a "9ft" tall cylinder, gave it a black texture, left collision on, and placed a light in the center of the cylinder, and I came up with this effect...

It looks nice, but you do it so much better.

HOW?
