I really need more speed in My games, and Im trying diffrent ways to
fix the slow framerate in FPSC.. First of all, when compiling the usual way
in DBP I get an error when testing the game, the game itself works though,
but all entitys disappear when testing the game!
My question is:
Is there any ways to make the source-code work with entitys, shadows etc?
Or is it possible to recompile an ordinary FPSC-Game file for more speed?
and the last question. Does anyone knows a person that have had sucess to
modify the FPSC-Game.exe file to run in "fastsync" mode?

just curious, Have you tried FPSC 1.06RC4? The speed has increased dramaticly.

Yes I have.. The reason for that speed up, is mostly just becouse the
shadows have been removed, the quality of the skybox-textures is lower
as well.. In situations when having probs with slowdowns 1.06RC4 is
maybe the slowest version (with shadows turned back on) ever...

I Myself use a recompiled version of V1.05RC1 and it is very fast
compare to the "original" versions.. But it isnt enought, when testing
the compiled "fastsync" version, everything plays in realtime! Its
possible to do this, I just need a hint how?
(Commercial games always have realtime engines.)

I would love to know where you got the source code from 1.05RC1 in order to be using a recompiled version! or did I misunderstand what you're saying?

My FPSC-Game file is only part-recompiled (no source visible). The speed
is mutch faster than the original, but the framerate dosnt show mutch faster
on the screen witch is weird.. Anyway when pressing "X" (Frame Rate 0) the
game plays even faster but the framerate still shows 32-33, so Im pretty
sure the frame-rate that shows in the bottom of the screen isnt always
correct... (I want full framerate!!!)

How could we possibly answer the question? If you are using and have altered the V1.05 source, just how could we possibly know what you have done? LOL

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
