anyone know if sync mask is available in the GDK function set?

i keep getting an identifier not found error... i've tried dbSyncMask(), dbSyncmask(), both to no avail...

I dont think it is... Its not listed in the DarkSDKCore header file any way where dbSync() etc are listed...

i'm trying to convert one of Evolved's shaders, and the function looks like it's used in the DBPro version...

Sorry, but as far as I know DGDK includes dbSyncMask since January, it appears at DarkSDKCore.h as:

It is most definatley there. Remember to install the UPDATE as well! And then you're going to have to rebuild intellisense.


Here's Evolved's Water Shader that uses dbSyncMask();

Going to look pretty nice in an RTS

ok, will someone tellme which is the latest version...

i've got 162c... is that the current version of the GDK...

also, what about this update you mentioned Dag... which one, and do you just install over the current GDK install...

Latest update is 120307 (12th March 2007), have the link to the sticky:

I think it is better to put the new libraries into a new different folder and change the compiler config to point to this new folder.
