Hi,
I installed 4.1 patch and oops - I can't use 3DS models.

Is there a quick converter app? I have 3DCanvas, but wondered if there is a quicker way to convert. Hope Patch5 is out soon.

This problem has come up a lot. Unfortunately, I have a problem, although I have a 3DS to X converter, I cannot find a .x to .3DS converter. My editor (which I only have because it was free and quick to down load - anim8tor) does not accept .X, so I cannot alter my old files. Dows anyone know of .x to .3ds converter.

THANKS

Can't you ust make a backup copy of your .3ds file before converting it?

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

I think he means an x file to 3ds that was never 3ds to start with, like if he wanted to load one of the DB x models into anim8or.

Does Milkshape do this?

go to http://download.com.com/3000-2192-6696988.html?tag=lst-0-1 to download 3dexploration. It is the best u can get free, it can load and save amost every 3d and 2d file that exisits. Just load the object then save as what ever you want.
