Hi,

I have attached an image that shows the eye lash area of this model I'm working with (I'm not even gonna pretend I made it).

The .X file was exported from 3DS Max 6 (Panda Exporter) and I included the texturing, etc. When I simply load and display the object the eye lashes look fine.

The image on the right is the non-manual load of the textures and the left image is the manual texture load of the texture.

The bottom image is a cropped are of the texture for the eyelashes.

So any ideas why the eye lashes are not texturing? I'm using the *exact* file that is exported from Max. I've tried .jpg,.bmp,.png and I get the same result.

Here is the code to load the object and texture it.

load object "her_3.X",2 ` loads object and textures exported

` now low the texture manually
load image "her_texture_1.bmp",1
texture object 2, 0, 1

' TEXTURE OBJECT Object Number, Stage Index, Image Number

Any ideas?

EDIT:

Sorry the phrase:

The image on the right is the non-manual load of the textures and the left image is the manual texture load of the texture.

should read:

The image on the *left* is the non-manual load of the textures and the *right* image is the manual texture load of the texture.

Confused military/civilian left/right ...
