Test of Will,

I assume you have Vista.t.

FPS Creator Version 1 (Direct X 9 now known as FPSCX9) will work on vista. you will need to install direct x 9 on your vista machine then set up the corrent permissions.

There have been plenty of other people who have FPSCX9 working in vista.

however, with that being said, TGC will not support you running the FPSCX9 on vista. They will only support FPSCX9 running on XP to my knowledge.

Hope you understand.

i don't think anyone is understanding me (no offense) what i'm asking it that I heard that some games that you play are DX9 only and when you install DX10 you can't uninstall it so does this apply to the old version of FPSC if I install DX10 can I run FPSCX9?

I think he's asking, can he run the original Direct X 9 version of FPSCreator on a machine running Direct X 10. (Assuming he wants to use both the new FPSC and the old one) Personally, I thought the question was clear. I'm sure he knows only Vista can use Direct X 10.

Good question... I'm running Vista and DirectX 10 and it seems to work just fine, however I haven't tried to compile an exe so I don't know if that part works or not yet.

EDIT:
I tested it and it works just fine. So in an answer to your question, yes, FPSC X9 does work with DirectX 10.
