Hi, before I begin I want to make sure everyone knows I am well aware that team requests are against the rules of the forums. But I am also aware that on the homepage it says the following:
"Membership is free. Give it a try, you never know who you might meet and what top-selling title you could create together."
And I want to do just that.

So, basically, I am looking for a 3D modeler (who does animation as well) who can make some simple animated objects such as people or cars (yeh the wheels have to look like they're going round) for Soharix.

I have been hesitant to ask before because of previously refused team requests and the fact that I was like "Well who would want to help Soharix, we've only made 2 games." But I thought, I won't know unless I ask. So here I am, asking you, 3D modelers out there, to consider helping Soharix (namely me) in maybe making a decent game (for once) and providing Soharix with a bank of some basic animated objects to use in that game or other games.

Thank you in advance to anyone who actually considers this.

Lol, to me people are simple, I can model and animate them, just the UV mapping is gay so I can't be bothered.

Being dyslexic doesn't matter, as long as you can do the task.

(I too am on summer holidays.)

Cars are easier than people (just animate the wheels going round)

And with that post are you saying you wish to help Soharix?

Well its kinda up to whatever can be made at the moment. I mean, I can program almost any genre of game, the main reasons I don't release any of different genres is because of lack of media, usually sound and objects (or a decent game story line.)

So say if you can only model WW2 objects, then we'll make a WW2 game, if you can only model spaceships, we'll make a space sim/race game etc...

I just need to know there is someone there primarily who can supply me with the models needed for a great game.

(And we aren't looking for map makers, because that's also my job just so you know.)

Hmm, well are you sure Linux will be able to use programs that can export to DBP formats? E.G. If you make an object in Linux and try to send it to me - will I be able to use it in a program?

And are you sure you don't want to see any results of the program, that would be kind of boring to not know what your objects are actually being used for and what to change about them so they suit the program better?

Hmm, well I will consider your request, but nothing is made final yet over TGC forums. We can continue discussing this through the forums. Being a pure Windows user for around 11 years I am naturally biased against other operating systems.

I am hesitant against those using operating systems that can't run Dark BASIC Pro executables because at Soharix, motivation is lost very easily. If nothing can be shared and no one knows directly what is going on, that motivation is lost almost instantly.

I have a Panther tank and a Jeep (red cross) for download on my board at Ozark games.

Jeep http://www.ozarkgames.com/smf/index.php?topic=1274.0

Panther tank http://www.ozarkgames.com/smf/index.php?topic=1069.0

Take a look at my other stuff there if you like,I'd offer to help but as usual I'm up to my neck with stuff.

Well the Jeep is good, but I can't see the tank.

Soharix is looking more for a modeler than just models, because when different modelers mix models in a game, everything looks odd and the organisation becomes unorderly. For example if I had a person who could get in and out of that jeep his architecture would probably not be consistant with the jeep's architecture and he would look out of place.

Just so everyone knows who wishes to apply for this - I have started making a fantasy/dungeon FPS based on a game I made years ago in the Games Factory (by Europress)

Any assistance with objects such as keys, animated monsters (get details on the monsters in the game from me first) animated characters, lanterns/torches will be greatly appreciated.
