I always appreciate competition, although we`re talking about different genres here and I don`t believe that commercial FPSC games are so widely spread that we can talk about "competition" in its meaner sense...

Support the efforts of Homegrown Games! Don`t let us starve!

@dimoxinil:

Since I can't seem to find any contact information on you; consider this your official invitation to join the Best of the Best.

Contact me with all the relevant info I posted in the Best of the Best thread, if you want E.L.E. to be included.

I'm working on a group of programs to help with different aspects of using FPSC. When I make a thread for it, you will find the animated menu there too.

Well, there is this one annoying bug that I have, and that means I have to rewrite the entire script for it (which will take forever), so I'm just going to wait to finish Gone, and then release it (which will be within the next month if everything goes according to schedule).

Well, ok! What bug is it? Just curious... But its okay, and is it going to be paid?
How did you make it, by loading a scene and then pasting the menu on top of it? I was trying it too, it almost worked, but then:
Blue Screen!!! Then my face was like:

It's a problem with the menu appearing on all levels, but I know how to fix it.

I haven't had a blue screen in forever. That stinks.

HI, I have just finished return from a vacation, Sun, beach, etc... A good holidays, yes. A month without hearing to talk of videgames, fpsc, E.L.E, BOW, etc...

Well, I have found myself with than BOW's (The another game done with fpsc) development is very advanced. This month would be able to put a video or images, That the bosses, decide.

About the theme of the Best of the Best, We do not believe that it be just for the rest of the participants, We have made the decision of don't participate. In any case thank you very much for the invitation. Good luck to all of the participants.

Sorry to hear that you won't be participating, as you've shown FPSC to be a viable development tool. Just to make sure you understand; the BOTB isn't a competition in any sense, it's mainly a showcase reserved for those that have seen their project to completion (or at least a complete demo) and have shown exceptional skill in different areas of development. I had picked your title not just because of the commercial viability of E.L.E., but because of giving the entire game a definite "toon" look to it...which is rather unique.

I won't bother to ask what "BOW" is, in this case. Good luck in your future endeavors.

If you guys are going on to a different project would you mind getting the info on how the animated scene was done for the menu? and BloodDeath666, looks like you were right...vaporware.

That really stinks...

And I hope you realize that if you give away the info for the animated scene, everybody will have one for DarkFact's competition.

HI KeithC, BOW is a game done in FPSC, is a mixture of FPS + ARCADE and a bit of RTS. You can build cannons and after control them, building launching pads of missiles, asking for aerial attacks, etc.. BOW will be in English and Spanish, We will need people than test the English version (for verify that translation is right), If you are interested you can be one of them.

Quote: "Beers of War?"

- yes, this weekend.

-About the menu, it´s done in FPSC, When you play BOW, you will be able to check this.

Dates of exit:
-E.L.E= 2008.
-BOW= 2007.

Beers of war sounds great ill be there....but on the other hand releasing too games..incredible cant wait to see this, i think your the best in making fpsc, a modern day tool for indie developers..great job...But i would recomend using fpsc x10 when it comes out..itll be a better addition to fpsc and the world of gaming..

Will you be releasing your parallax shader, nightshade I believe is working to implement shaders, but it would be great if you shared the one you used in E.L.E.

Also I cant find a web page for ELE, or your dev company, could you put links up please.

Wow both ELE and BOW are looking great! So, you will definetely let people beta test before you release it FREE to the public? I can't wait! Oh, will there be some sort of multiplayer version of BOW included? It also sounds like a great multiplayer game! I hope to see some pics and vids soon!
