Some of you might remember me, some of you might not, however, i spent some time into modelling solely, started working in MS3D and earned over $200 on Turbosquid now(Not that it's plenty, but...it isn't all about money, however it still makes you happy when you see a stat jump...Sure as heck payed off MS3D though!)Anyways here are the links to all of my models published:
http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm/FuseAction/ProcessSmartSearch/istIncAuthor/gorandodic(On Turbosquid)

Now i started adding some on the 3d studio becouse they take less provision. https://www.the3dstudio.com/product_search.aspx?id_author=253083

Please leave some comments about your impressions here if you wish.

BTW. Nice to see forums still up and running! Good job TGC!

Over $200? Hmm, I was thinking about selling some of my stuff on turbosquid...

What types of models sold the best for you?

Like i said, i'd rather go to 3dstudio becouse in order to myself get over $200 i had to earn over $400 +30%(for sending check to my country)...The middle priced models sold best for me. When i try being modest and asking $2~5 for some models, all i get is that noone buys them even if they are better than some $25+ models by other people. Models in range of $15~25 sold best in my case. Did sell some $2-8 plants/flowers though. But never sold any higher detailed higher poly model unless the price is over $12 or so...It's strange, really. When i tried pricing $38(for a highly detailed and medium poly furniture set)which people tend to price up to $50+ each, i couldn't sell any...So i guess like i said, range from $15~25. But i do suggest The3dstudio dot com rather than Turbosquid just becouse of the provision.

Thanks for the advice, but also, what categories of models sold best for you? Characters? Plants? Furniture?

I specialize in characters but I think I could work on other objects if they sell better.

I'll put it in a decading order:
High polygon(or "middle polygon")class vehicles(cars, bycicles, motorcycles...)
Objects(like cages, warehouses, buildings...)
Characters(only high poly greatly textured ones sell good, low poly ones barely ever get sold(for me)).

Other ones also sell, but those sell the best by my opinion, at least for a mid class modeler like myself.
