Haha, to all that thought a score system would not be added, I think I recall Fred saying it wouldn't happen, haha

I know I sent in that idea and now its been added, so I'm like, wow

This might just make me buy a whole lot of new hardware and the dreaded Vista

It's nice to see that you're proud of yourself but when I said there would not be a score system at that point in time it was known the only variables would be health, ammo and air. They decided to add the score system after that.
I can only base my opinions and posts on the information available to me.
Score system...bah.If everybody else is dead you win.
It is nice that they added it for those who wanted it though.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

I think it will add a lot more to fpsc. People will be able to make different game types now.

In the recent newsletter TGC say that they will implement other things to make more diverse games like RPG's.

Which is nice...

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

The Score System can be used for a RPG game. A NPC could ask you to collect 10 pigs tails, you go collect them, the level ends and you end up back at the NPC for a new task.

Especially if each Entity has a Score as TGC suggested they will.
This is a perfect solution for the "variable requests" issue.
Yes, anything is possible if each Entity has a Score that can be manipulated via an FPI script.

By adding a score system to maybe use as variables, it would just lead FPSC X10 another step closer to Bioshock! For anyone who has it, think of all the U-vents and so on...
