Has anybody had any experience creating their own models to place a decal on. This could be very helpful with making a flowing river, or a water fountain. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I'm almost willing to bet that the decal is hard coded like the bullet decals, but if it can be done it would be great.

The decal model is produced by the engine and is a plane, until you can apply an animated texture onto a surface in FPSC what you want to achieve wont be done.
A water fountain could be achived with decals as they are now,but a river which changes direction would be very difficult to make seamless tho' not impossible.

thats what I thought, decals being an engine produced deal. Too bad, the possibilities are limitless. Oh well. Thanks anyway guys.

I think you can attach a decal to a segment though, I remember Uman mentioning that a long time ago.
