well, usually games allow you to choose. It all depends on the monitor you have and if you plan on using high res textures. Like,if you have a monitor that only goes up to 1280x1024 then I'd say get the 320 and save some money. Actually,if I were you,I'd get an 8600GTS to save money, because come christmas the geforce 9 series is coming out. And the geforce 8 series isn't really qualified all that much for dx10 gameplay, short of having two 8800GTXs. Most people who are experts with gpus have tended to stay with high end dx9 cards, because really all the geforce 8 cards are are really really amazing directx 9 cards with dx10 support slapped on. So go low end, then when the geforce 9800gts comes out(which is double the power of an 8800ultra),get that. Thats what I'm doing. Because I highly doubt you will be able to play a fully featured dx10 game on a geforce 8 card on max settings. And don't use fpsc x10 as an example, because it isn't considered a very high end game. As far as I've seen, all fpsc x10 utilizes very well is bloom(not hdr,at least not that I have heard of),normal mapping(which every dx9 game uses pretty much),and soft shadows(this is the only thing I haven't seen in many dx9 games). Thats my views on all of this... Actually,I'm going with an 8800gts 320mb version because I won't be able to upgrade my computer in 18 months(thats when I'll be out of debt for it...). But then I'll be getting whatever amazing gpu is out, which will probably be the geforce 10 series, haha.
