Thanks to all your support and votes SOCCERnPOOL is a finalist in the "Best Game on the go" category of the "Intel Game Competition"

Check out the other finalists at
http://softwarecommunity.intel.com/articles/eng/1409.htm

Well, looks like Dark Basic is up there with the best professional game engines. Hope to see some of you entering the Intel Compo next year.

What else can I say. The DB community is the most supportive and vibrant game developer group around.
Thanks for the votes again guys !!

Great job on that contest! Your game looks original and lots of fun. The two mouse feature for multi player is awesome. There are so many people that enjoy foosball, and your game gives those people the ability to play with their friends at home if they can't get out.

Off topic, but I was checking out the judges of the compo, and I think that Ann-Charlotte Joseph looks really cute.

Torrey,

I consider this as a compliment coming from as proficient a coder as yourself.
Your website is pretty neat.

You hold the DBPro Gauntlet, taking the name of DBP to the people.

I voted against you by the way....

Torrey, Hoozer and all the other Foosball enthusiasts,

Foosball is big money and the tournaments run all over the US and the rest of the world throughout the year. Check it out at
http://www.table-soccer.org/

The first Foosball World Cup was held in Germany in 2006, when it was recognised as an official sport, and tons of nations participated.

Also check out the Foosball forums at
http://www.foosball.com/forum/index.php
for any local tournaments in your area.

And practice makes perfect. If you want the big bucks.

If you want to see how the pros play and practice, check out this video at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e5Is2c-CzA
I don't think I could get that kind of ball control if I practiced 24hours, 7 days a week, for the next 100 years.

Powersoft,

I see you had a change of heart.
I'm glad you liked the game and thanks for the comment.
