In most games now you can see the background trough the menu (like ghosted). How can i make this effect.
Only heroes live forever.

making your button panels like decals but composed of 3d plains.

theory

make object plain
always face the camera
lock onto the screen
ghost the object

doesn't pro support some kinda alpha blending for sprites so they can be ghosted?

I read in another thread awhile ago that you would probably do your menu background as a bitmap. show the bitmap and use the bitmap transparency (alpha) to blend the bitmap background. Then float your text / menu over the top. That would probably work...
