SET LIGHT TO SPOT or something like that, check the 3D LIGHT commands in the help file. If you want a light trail: make a cone, fix it to the end of the flashlight and ghost it.

1. Dont post your age.
2. The majority of the users here are around 16 as well, so thats no excuse.

Look for the shader thread (search "shader", it'll be the big "Ultimate Shader Thread". Download the shader packs, and try out evolved's flashlight shader.

Can you use shaders in DBC?
I dont know what BOOH has
You could make a plain of a spotlight and position it just in front of walls and stuff. Though thats a sucky way of doing it
erm... I've found lighting only works well in db if it's pointed at an object with many polygons, there's a "grid cube" in one of the DB examples that you could use as a wall.

I am rubbish at 3D though

TDK_MAN,
There is a problem!
the light works fine in the wall but whenever i load a .3ds file into the program the light dosent work in it. I converted the .3ds into .x but still no luck..

Anyway, The light works fine in the models from darkmatter.
what do u think is the problem in this case.

It just needs objects with lots of poly's like OBese87 mentioned. The more poly's the better.

Just add more poly's to objects you use in dark rooms.
