Hey its Troy again.
I want to put a subway level in my game but I cant find anything with the subway tracks or anything, which is all I really need, I can make the tunnels in segment creator, but, can somebody tell me if there is a good subway track mod or anything. I've heard of one from Accode, but I read that there were some issues with it. So if anyone knows where I can get some subway tracks, maybe a subway train, or a car of a train, or anything I can put in a subway, hook me up with some info please.

Do a search and you'll find that people have created railroad tracks and items. There may also be some stuff in a model pack. However none of it is specific to a subway.

Again, the key is to "Search" and then ask.

Hey, TEST OF WILL. Quote: "Yes you could make them in segment creator."
Are you saying that only about the tunnels, or can I make the tracks in segment creator too?

I have created a 'track' floor segment for you to use. In the download you will find an installer which will place the files directly into FPSCreator, plus there is a read me file about the install i think you should have a quick look at.
All I am actually supplying is a texture that you may like to use.
I hope you like it
Good luck

Ross tra damus,

Ahh, nice one. Thanks for sharing.

Best.

EDIT: All it installs is the uninstaller. No texture. LOL

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

The installer installs the texture and all the necassary files directly into FPSCreator. You will find a new folder called 'Subway track' in the FPSCreator segment library which is ready to use straight away.
The read me file just explains about where to find the uninstaller if you wish to uninstall this floor segment.
I will be posting more media in the forums after I have finished the Free Add-on Pack for Dark Egypt users.
Sorry,by the way, I think your rail track looks great.
Cheers

Thanks.

Also, you Xplosys recently made a rail tract that was really good.

Kind Regards,
Duplex

Thanks guys, I really need this stuff. And to Ross tra damus, are the tunnel walls compacted right around the track, can I put some flooring in between those walls, or did you already make subway flooring that can be in between the walls.
MANY THANKS TO YA ALL

The room you can see in the screenshot does not come with the floor segment I provided. Yes, you can build whatever width or lenghth of room you want and place the 'Rail/track' in. The segment I provided can be placed in any room but please remember to remove any flooring which is in place already by using the 'F' key method, before placing the 'Rail/track' segment. The rail segment is best placed last after setting up the scene you want it to appear in.
The segment itself is exactly the same size as the standard floors in Fpsc so any wall can be placed alongside it.
I did originaly create this segment to go between walls (english subway) because I thought that was what you wanted.
Mess around with it and other segments to see what you can come up with.
Hope this helps and good luck

Ross tra damus, thanks, but what I mean is, is the flooring in that first screenshot part of the subway tunnel segment you made, or just the walls, because I want to put flooring in between but keep the tunnel walls in there. Because so far whenever I put flooring in, it changes the walls, but I want to keep your walls in the room. THANKS

You keep saying
Quote: "Because so far whenever I put flooring in, it changes the walls, but I want to keep your walls in the room. THANKS"

I did not supply any walls in my download. What walls are you talking about?
I will mention this again, all I have supplied is a 'Floor' segment which has to be placed in an 'empty' space in the editor. You can put this segment anywhere you like. Remove, using the 'F'key (Floor only mode), any floor which happens to be in the place where you want to put my rail floor segment.
Sorry but it can't be any simpler than the way I have explained it here.

Ross tra damus, I get that you only made the track for the download, and sorry for bringing this up again but, if those walls and floors in the screenshots aren't yours, which walls did you use.
I want to use the same ones.

Sorry about the confusion.
The room segment I used is called 'Docklands Hanger Lower' and is from Model Pack 6. This Pack is mainly a weapons Pack but it does come with Two cool room segments to construct a Hanger, comprised of a 'Lower' section and 'Upper' section.
I hope this has helped.

Glad you could find a use for it, it's not much but it's somthing.

Keep your eye out tommorrow, I will be posting a 'Small Furnace Pack' sometime during the day. It's just a few variations of the same furnace which is made from stock segments.

Always nice to get a good reply from someone.

Cheers

my media pack include railway track segments, flat but they look decent, however i don't think they would be suitable for a subway
