I have been trying to figure this out forever. Most of the time i dont model because of this. I have done it once but didnt know how i did it and could never figure it out again.

The question i have is(dont know if im asking this right) how do i mirror a line/face? The product came with a good model with an example as what im wanting to do.

The Si button will hide or show the faces being mirrored.

Select the part (make sure its not locked in the object editor) then go to the "Selected" tab click on Mirror,a small window will open allowing you to select the mirror direction default should be ok (YZ).

For automatic mirroring:

Make sure you can see the Object Panel (you can turn it on/off in the Panel menu). Double click on obj1 in the Object Panel, and select the type of mirroring you want.

I recommend you get the free version 2.4, its got UV mapping and other cool stuff.

Glad to see other people using metasequoia!
