Dark GDK / texture limbs from main object.

I was wondering if any one had a way to texture a limb to the reference texture rather then loading from an image. As most know when you brake off a limb it loses texture data. Is there a way to keep it or get it?

Hi unitech try making a function that re-texture the object and the remaining limbs or simply do dbTextureLimb(objectID,0,textID).

I guess what I mean is can I do this

dbTextureLimb(objectID,0,textID).

but have textID some how point the the uv data in the main x file that had the limb, rather then the textID pointing to a file?
