hi, i wanted to make my own custom HUD using gimp but i don't know what to do. i followed the tutorial from fredP but didn't really understand it. if someone could help me out id really appreciate it.

What kind of hud? Like Ammo, Health, Lives or a gas mask (or something that covers the entire screen like that)?

i wanted to make a gas mask or a helmet but i also want to change the health/lives.
