Following from the 'Prison Design' post in FPS chat thread.

Plus two quick screenshots.

The texture looks good
But isn't the model just a plane with transparent texture?

Pigs can fly

Yes, your right but I do these kind of segments to create depth and keep the framerate at a reasonable level by using wall segments.

The Game Creators have my Dark Egypt-V2 Pack but it is still being processed at the moment. The Add-on Pack will maybe be released at the end of the month or just after, I hope.

Thanks a bunch Ross!

Using a wall is the best way to go. If anyone actually modeled the bars you'd be adding a lot of poly's. Round objects are not the friend of low-poly games. Of course what you do also depends on whether you're going for aesthetics or interaction.

Another nice texture.

Thank you.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

I was thinking that the one 'Prison Cell' looked boring if placed in a row so I have made two new variations of the texture to give a little difference.
One has no door section at all and the other has the door slid back.
You will not be able to walk through them unless you add the textures to a 'Walkthrough ' false wall entity.
Please give the 'Read me' file that I have supplied a quick look at to avoid any problems with the install.
See new screenshot below.
Again, I hope you can find a use for them.
Good luck

@Everyone,

Greetings. I've taken the liberty of creating entities from Ross tra damus' offering. There is a workaround to allow the player to actually pass through. Read the included Player Stop ReadMe.txt file to easily set this up.

Download attached.

Thanks,

Seth Black

@Everyone,

Here's a download with a slight improvement to the segment textures and an additional wall segment.

Enjoy!

Thanks,

Seth Black

Great work Seth Black.

No liberty at all, always good to see some use of the textures.
It's amazing what can be done when a little thought is put into something.
Again, nice work.

These will go great with Dark Egypt. Can't wait to see V2 as I've always wanted to do an Egyptian puzzle based game. Well done.

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.
