Greetings all,
I am haveing a problem with door collision. I created a model of a metal gate that drops into the floor, but the Collision is turned 90 degrees. So I'm stopped before I get to the door and I can bump into an invisibleside of it. I cant get through the door but persistant enemies can. Any idea on how to turn the collision box or what settings to use?

door is placed like this _
but collision is like this I

I've searched and found nothing.

What program did you use to create the model?

Are you rotating it in the editor? You also may want to export it in something else if you're having collision bounding issues.

im exporting it from milkshape, and dont have any problems with it collisionwise untill i make it dynamic. When it's static it obeys the correct collision, so its not the modeler. Its only when I change it to dynamic.

Must be the collision. But I can't imagine why - what's your collisionmode FPE parameter?

Well I found the solution although odd.
When anyone is making an animated door/gate/portal, in milkshape 3d, this line must read as thus-

fixnewy = 90

then you just have to rotate in editor. Why it does this for dynamic mode I have no explaination, but its only for dynamic mode.
