Actually i tried to "fill" up the whole 40x40 area.

It wasnt entirely full but almost and the framerate wasnt down.
Maybe 1 or 2.

(but i made every mesh myself and tried to optimize every little thing that could be optimized)

you mean the whole map as a room? because I know that can't be ttue unless you have a geforce 9000 series lmao also there is a way to change or there was on older versions but I dont remeber exactly how it involved adding something to the mapediter.ini file, if you search you will probably find it

Thanks

No it wasnt an room.
It was an outdoor environmont.
With destroyed buildings and such.

And the highest building was 7 segments high.
Also you could enter most of the buildings.
And lights where on.
Full lightmapping that is.

I placed 1 light-marker with the value of range:
50000.
So it could light the whole scene up.

I also placed some entities like:
Rubble,
Decals, (fire and such)
Lightrays, (self made, also they arend decals and thanks to Roger
Wilco it succeeded!)
Some guns,
Cars.

Map wasnt done yet it is still an W.I.P test level.

But untill now i dont have any frame rate problem.

ah yes I have done a scene like that needs clever tricks to keep the FPS up you must still have a fairly decent computer

Thanks
Adam
