FPSC Classic Product Chat / i need help with my motel pack (1)

ok so i got it all downloaded and i put the segment folders in segments and meshbank in meshbank and my texturebank stuff in texturebank. my entitys work great but when ever i try and us a segment it says.
runtime error 7001 - mesh number illegal at line 9675
then the screen goes black and i what and then a nother thing poopes up it says
the application has encoutered a probelm and needs to close. extra debug info :0 0
and then it closes out of fpsc.

can anyone tell me the problume?

get Magic FPS, and nothing will poop out.

did you mean model pack 1? why would you place that stuff you just run the installer and the select the FPSC install folder to install and it does it for you where did get your model pack 1 from?

here. but when i ran the software everything loaded but the segments were in the entity place and when i click on like room A or what ever nothing showed up

then it hasnt installed properly your bets bet is to uninstall the lot then manually delete the FPSC folder (back up anything up you need to keep) then reinstall FPSC and then model pack 1 using the installer like i mentioned above and see if it corrects itself

You shouldn't be using FPSC if you can't understand basic computer skills, it's only a few clicks.

... i know that duh its not that i havent installed it. its that the segmentswont work i put everyt hing in the folder it goes in and it still wont work?

They're trying to tell you that the install isn't right. You need to do it again. The only way to ensure it's clean is to remove what you have and start over. Backup any work/levels that you've already created and delete the fpsc folder. Then reinstall everything. Nearly everyone here has installed with no problem, so it's not the code.
