I read in one of the stickies that converting a FPSC X10 game to the Xbox 360 MIGHT be possible. I'm sure myself that it could very well be done. You would need the codes and such that go along into the cd that is burned containing the game so that it will be compatible. My question is, is there anyone here who has tinkered with this theory already? If Valve and others can convert their PC games into Xbox compatible Cds then why couldn't an FPSC X10 game. This would be great for ones seeking a publisher in the future who have an X10 game ready. Seing how a lot of people don't have Direct X10 compatible cards and many people have a 360, having the game capable of converting to the 360 would be a great thing. So, does anyone have a slightest idea on how to start trying to do such? If someone could figure it out then it would be a great aid to the community. As for me, I'm pretty much lost on how to go about doing that.

That post was pure assumption because Xbox is in the same family (Microsoft) as direct x. Other game development studios use c++ and other languages to code, this gives them much more low-level code access. So just be happy with what we're getting at the moment, I am not expecting a simple £25 xbox 360 developing game engine.

Understood, and I am happy. But out of assumption, you would think it was possible. Crackers, and coders try to dig and discover new things all the time with this stuff. I'm sure someone could make a program to do such. Don't kill me with negative feedback either for me wondering about something that might could possibly happen. We just need somewhere to start.

Honestly I don't think this will ever be done. However if some one knows what they are doing and put a lot of time into it I'm sure it could eventualy be done. It would take a lot of work though in my opinion.

It would require a complete rewrite of the code you made your game with anyway, and with c++, then you would need XNA gamestudio, it would take a lot of work, by that I mean it's not possible with FPSC and darkbasic's tools.

Yeah, but less people have xbox 360's than pc's. I was wondering about this for a long time now, but TGC would not support the third party software it would take to do it, so the warranty on your 360 would be void, and TGC would take no responsibility.

Nah. Just leave it.

Don't jump to any conclusions whatsoever, the Xbox coding is a stranger to mostly all of us, console conversion is a thing I would like but honestly don't think we'll need.

I knew, but we don't have FPScreator X10 either so if someone wanna try, can try using FPSC v1 and a XBOX instead of X10 and a 360, maybe we have a genius of C++ within us and we didn't notice, who knows...
