I'm using the Segment-Creator for fpsc, the video tutorials show you how to apply a shader, but how to I make my bumpmap the shader image?

Thanks

Easiest way with good results go here and download:

http://www.crazybump.com/

If you want full control over the image output download the Nvidia photoshop normal map and dds plugins:

http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html

This will also work if you're using Paint Shop Pro by following the instructions here:

http://http.download.nvidia.com/developer/NVTextureSuite/Paint_Shop_Pro_Steps.pdf

Good luck with this. I've spent a bunch of time with normal mapped segments and there are issues, at least with the default FPSC bump shaders. I'm looking at texture baking to try and improve texture quality for segments.

Post your results if you get anywhere with this.

I made a thread a while back which may highlight some things you experience:

Good luck

The GIMP can also do bump maps, but I'm not sure about normal mapping
