FPSC LEVEL DESIGN FORUM

Announcing the Level Design Forum for FPSC

As there isn't really a dedicated section on this forum for level design and help I decided to create my own. If you think this is just "another copy of the FPSC forums" then think again, the FPSC Level Design Forum is solely for getting the best out of your levels, with dedicated tutorials already in place from the likes of Wizard Of Id and Wetham. Why not pop over and get expert help and advice on creating that perfect level

I thought so

If anyone has any hints, tips and ideas on how they created their level, it would be fantastic if you could share, and the more screen shots the better!

Hi Andy,

Providing the name is not used for commercial gain, you are fine to use the term FPSC.

Best Regards,
Lee.

The forum seems slow to me so I started another using Invision Power, take a look here: http://fpscleveldesign.invisionplus.net/ and tell me which you like best (Invision is still WIP remember).

The invisionplus one seems faster. It takes load for me.

I prefer invisionplus. It seems smoother and faster loading. Better for those like me who are in a hurry. I've got over one thing to do today... can't remember what though.

I'm there.

Best.

Ive posted a tips guide for outdoor levels on your forum nicky

Looks like the most useful forum to do with FPSC.

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.

Just signed up. I don't see any reason for me to post, though, seeing as nobody has posted their problems, and the posts that exist are almost all tutorials. I'll come back when it's more active.

I tried to register three times for your forum.

All three times it said:
Quote: "The registration code did not match the one displayed, a new code has been generated, please try again"

All three times I checked and double checked the code and it was 100% correct. It just doesn't seem to work. It is only six numbers. I know that I didn't type it wrong. I had another person double check me and they said that it was correct.

EDIT: I tried a fourth time and it finally worked.

The person that now knows the most started with many questions. Patients and tolorance are the keys to the passage of knowledge. http://gamedesigntech.byethost7.com/

There is now a small example on how to use sounds in your horror levels, go check it out.

@incense: Sorry bud, don't know what happened, I have no control over how the reg code works, I can either use it or not and that's the most control I have over it! Glad you finally did it though.

Hi all, I think Invision is good, but SMF is better, and its free, and there are no ads. So, in that spirit, I have created an exact copy of the board on SMF, and transfered all of the users names, and all of the REGULAR users will have the same password, 123456, until they change it. Mods and admins passwords will be email to them, so that nobody steals there passwords, and I dont really care about the regular users names. All of the topics and posts may be put on, but I don't know if I will yet. The board is not yet complete, so just be patient.

Okay, but I must advise you, once your board space runs out, you will no longer be able to use you're free forum, I ran into the same problem. With mine, the bandwith and memory resets, therefore pretty much unlimited, keep that in mind.
