i'm quite new to fps creator, i got the hang of it but i know there is way more to it. So i read in the manual that you can use your own models of guns. Would blender models work?
if they do, could someone please guide me how?

If you do a search, you will get over 100 hits on 'blender'
I recommend you start there. Eventually all models must be in .x (directX) format.

ok. i exported a model into .x and wrote standard code but it still dosent work. it just brings up an error when i used it in fpsc.
I have several theories:
1. v1 + latest blender = too good for v1
2. i need to by x10
3. Windows vista related problem (which also means I need x10)

No. Blender exports the same DIrectX models whichever version you use. No, you don't need to buy X10, and it's nothing to do with wether you have Vista or not.
Use Entity maker, MagicFPS, Signs or Entity Workshop to unite the model and the texture and import them. I know exporting as a DIrectX Model in blender is a bit of a mess sometimes, but it should do it eventually

Yes TGPEG is correct if you are having trouble understanding have to do the setup manually there are several tools that can do it for you and they are an investment as this will speed up the process of setting up new models. However I am pretty sure MagicFPS has had some issues on Vista so I would go with one of the others, Just do a forum search or look on the models and media board.

Thanks
