Could somebody please explain how to use scancodes in DBPro. I know that the keyboard generates an individual code for each key pressed but I don't know what code corresponds to each letter.

During development I often put the line text 20,20,str$(scancode()) into my programs.

If you wish for dual key presses to be acknowledged, identify the scancode number, then use if keystate(number) then where number is the scancode.

Use my plugin to convert between Scancodes and ASCII - Then use the Chr$() function on the ASCII code to get the string equivilent.

Do you want Windows menus in your DBP apps? - Get my plugin: http://snow.prohosting.com/~clone99/downloads/tpc_menus_102.zip
