I just read it on a site that this guy made a version of DirectX 10 for XP, I may have misread it, but I think it said that we can run this on a non DX10 card because he programmed the shaders in machine code or somthing. Enjoy people, all the more reason to release FPSCX10 sooner ^^

Is that the 0.05% done attempt? Admitablly you probably don't really need Vista for it (though you probably would need a DX10 card for the full effect), Microsoft is just trying to push their product more...

This product has been discussed (Alky) a lot of times before.
This project Alky is going no where, and like many have said before, their "demo" project do not even run (thats people from the Alky website not here).

Please use the search in the forum before posting this.

This should be locked before a big discussion takes place again on the exact same thing.

Besides,if this would work,most games still wont run,as those Shaders are not made in Machine Language,and who makes stuff in Machine Language these days?Those who like to re-invent the wheel?

Those who want to be heros! (And get arrested for violation of the EULA or whatever M$ call it these days.) Its not too hard to program in, but when you see the errors, you dont want to look for them.
