Hello all, I have some questions. Some may be stupid but I am new to the game creation scean.
1. What software should I use to texture and convert my.3DS Models so I can use them in the game?
3. Is there anyway to convert a high poly model so it can be used?

I have a library of models I have purchased & created and would like to use some of them in the FPS Creator game. I have used Maxon BodyPaint to texture in the past. I do have models I am willing to share if someone needs them.

1) milcshape, blender.(cheep, free)
3) best way is manualy, how high poly are you talking about? there is no point using ultra lo poly any more

you could dispaly some screen shots of your moddles, and let people choose the ones thay like

learn blender, you will never regret it.

Do you mean, a way to lower the polygon count, because if that is what you mean, then there is a link right on The Game Creators homepage for Action3D which was specifically made for lowering the polygon count on models.

But if you are going to animate, don't use a poly reducer

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.
