I have an animation using bones and whenever i rotate the animations are messed up. does anyone know how to rotate it without the animations getting messed up.

Are you rotating the mesh or the bones?

try selecting the bones and the mesh

or just select the root bone, that should do it.

It's hard to give you an answer without knowing how your scene's set up.
