Well after looking at all the blood packs around the forums, I'm not to happy with the color of the blood. If you took time to look, blood isn't a bright red, it's DARK red. I know that Doom 3 Gears of War got accurate with their blood and how it splatters if you got slaughtered and the color was just right. I saw that PigsCanFly's "Walltoast" pack had some decent blood decals with no black marks and I tried to make them the true blood color but somehow they keep screwing up the overlay. I might be doing it wrong but can someone here make maybe 2 or 3 realistic splatter decals like off Gears or Doom 3 and maybe a few drag lines of blood that give the impression someone was dragged into a room and killed? Or you can darken Pig's blood decals or something and not mess up the surroundings of the decal?

Thank you very much community.

Nickydude might have it in his guide. Although I can't remember if he really does. Thanks for the offer though.

Scroll on down till you get to the version 5 download link. It can create overlays.

I havent' used it, but I'm sure it might work.

The program 'Signs' can create overlays but it does use a black mask process. I have found that it works very well.
Hope this has helped.

I have some blood overlays and some 'cracks or cracking for walls' which I did a long time ago. If you are willing to wait for a couple of days I will try to find them. The blood is dark coloured.
I did not use signs for these paticular overlays.
Give me time and I will find them, make them FPSC ready and then post them.
Plus I might post some over overlays with them that you might find some use for.

Okay, and yeah, I don't have the extra money now to buy signs.
Thanks.

Aztek

Sorry mate, I found the blood overlays but I think that they look rubbish now- they are not what I remember. I do not want to post these because I think they are sub-standard and not quite what you are looking for.
Again, sorry.

I do believe it needs to be darker, and try to center the drag line.

Get Paint.net from
http//www.getpaint.net/
Open the the blood overlay texture file. Open Adjustments/Hue / Saturation

Turn the lighting down. Press Ok and save the texture and overwrite the texture file (make sure you have a backup before you do)

Hope that helped.

YOu ask for so much dude.

Get a fountain (ink) pen. flick ink onto a blank sheet of A4 paper. In photoshop (or similar) re-colour the ink dark red. the splatter looks great.
