how do I make a gun create light reflections?

I believe it has something to do with includeing a bone named 'firespot' in the models skeleton. This also makes the point for the decal to show up.

I think he means like Jon Fletches has with his duel elite weapons.

The shades is called: bumpbonereflectalpha. (or something like that)

Create your own normal map.
You have to do it like this:

texture_D2.dds (standard texture)
texture_D.dds (standard texture)
texture_N.dds (normal map)

Apply the D2 to your model.
Then add in the effect the effect you want bumpbonereflectalpha.

And then it should work...


Also is this a custom weapon?
Or model pack 5? Because i have tried this with model pack 5
and it deletes the hand texture, then replaces it with the weapon
texture.
