I have build myn game,packed with fpspack but myn game dont work by myn friend!But umbra do work by myn friends!Pleas tell me how you make umbra..

I don't know what you want me to do about it. I'd love to help. Truly I would, but you have given me very little information to go on. I mean, how big a filesize is your game? Does your game work in test mode? does your compiled game work? Have you followed the instructions for FPSpack correctly? DO you prefer honey or peanutbutter? Are you using Vista or Windows, and finally why me?

My size is 56 mb,Yes it works in test mode,Yes but not on other computers they dont have fpsc,yes i have follow it good,peanutbutter,windows XP And i think you have make umbra and that works.

1) Does your finished game work on a friend's computer without trying to package it first? In other words, zip the whole game and give it to them in its normal form.

2) Do they have the correct/latest version of DirectX installed on their computer? Do they have the latest video/sound drivers for their cards and OS?

3)What error messages, if any, are your friends getting? If there's not an error message, then what's happening when they click on the game exe?

4)If you're having issues with a 3rd Party software product, you need to contact the developer.

5)People do not need FPSC installed on their computer to play your game.

Make sure they have the latest direct x installed, i think thats how i got round that problem, if not then i probably didnt and just forgot about it.

oh, I know it sounds stupid, but if your burning it onto a CD for him you MUST copy the files to his HD before it wll work. Of course, if yu don't have the latest Direct X, you can forget it. It's like going back in time to the 1800s and getting henry ford to drive a Ferrari Enzo. Sure he knows what a car is, but it doesn't mean he can drive Anything!

I dont say that!They have update it and the error says that somthing ronge is with fpsc game.And it dont work without package.
And they have copy it from the cd.I hope that it work someday.

The game plays for me, no problem. I don't where the key is for the second door and I have problems falling through the floor where the shelf is in the way at the first door, but the game loads and plays fine.

Until your friends update, I guess they'll have a problem.

Je commentaar op megaupload was in het nederlands. Laat die vriend je megaupload package downloaden en die proberen

Als ze er dubbel op klikken komt er iets omhoog van fpspack,dat laad iets,dan start fpsc game en krijgen ze een error dat hij niks heeft om te doen ofzoiets.

As they dubble klik on the exe comes there a thing form fpsc pak thats load somthing,than start fpsc game and they get a error that there is nothing or somthing.

I think i know the problem!!!
Butters have a other fpsc game that evrybody can play!(with a pyramid logo)
And i have a other fpsc game(a crosshair logo).
Pleas tell where you got that.

Yes we had a boy at school who spoke Dutch and he found learning German very easy because of the similarities...

I'm almost certain this is a DirectX related problem... The easiest way for him to find out the problem is to run CanThisComputerRunFPSCGames.exe which can be found in your tools folder... in fact I'll attach it to this post.. Get your friends to run this and tell us what it says (preferably with a screenshot)
