I am not and will not be an artist and have not the slightest intention to make my own x files. I would like to know only where can I get x files already made for different items and then I use your "make entities from x files" program. I also dont care to make a game for sale later I just want fpsc and the satellite software as entertainment.
I searched google but it brings a lot of "x files" from the TV serial films. Thanks

Sorry mate but if you didn't read the stickies then know that if you are about to spend your time with FPSC you MUST buy a modeling program
like 3d canvas or gamespace. If you really want to make games with FPSC you must learn some 3d modeling either you like it or not.
The other option is finding freebies on the forum but you can't be sure you will find exactly what you want

Try "x files modeling" .

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

You could always ask Butters to do the Flukeman for you

Sorry, what is "the stickies " ??

and no I dont need to be "serious" about creating games, I am using FPSC to entertain myself, you see I am prematurely retired and I will never make a game for sale just to show them to some juniors in my family.

I bought Maya, installed it and 1 hour later I uninstalled it.

I'm sorry, do you always buy tools you don't know what they are for especially the more expensive ones?

JoeSan, Try searching for "models in Direct X format".

You should get less Mulder and (unfortunately) less Scully that way.

If you like burning cash, there are loads of model packs from forum members here that are in an FPSC-ready state.

Thank you KeythC for the tip on FTSC related media. It sure will take me awhile to go thru.

Could you enlighten me on the following question or do I have to open up another thread?

I found here from Bloodeath a crowbar that I downloades. It has VWEAP.x , HUD, gunspec.txt ... the works but his download instructions say "just put all the files under "gamecore\...." but that seems insuficient since there is nothing under Entitybank that I can grab and put it into my level. ?????
What is the procedure? I have also Entity Workshop and MakeEntities from here also but whatever they generate doesnt seem to be sufficient.

Your help would be nice. Thank you

You seem to posses the files for the HUD and enemy holding and don't have the actual floor enitity/pickup item.
You need to have a model of the crowbar in your entity folder and configged up properly so you can pick it up.
So once you have the model you can use entity maker to config it up properly.
The video tutorial from the main site is pretty good and tells you exactly how to make a weapon entity.

Yeah, I do agree with you will_help, but it all comes back to reading the manual.

My answer to WILL_HELP above: First learn English ! like 'lagitament' or 'expitble' or 'responces' you have so many spelling mistakes that you should first go back to primary school and then tackle making games or communicate at this Forum.

As far as Mr Veron from Australia is concern your comment is very enlightening "read the manual" Do you call a manual the pitiful pdf manual put out by FPS? You mean the 9 pages on How-to Guides?

Never mind the so called "search" , give us a minimum of credit the first thing I do when I search for some info in google, for instance, is use search and boy, that is a good search engine.

I thank mods here like Keith and others for their support and reject the clumsy irresponsible comments from simple users.
