Hi everyone,
This is a short video i made during my HSC Multimedia course at Muirfield Tech High. Im a huge fan of futuristic or military-purpose vehicular design and most of my work is based around this. Please post what you think and any advice you might have

Even though i've already submitted my major work just a few weeks ago, please feel free to provide your input since im planning on continuing modelling after school, professionally or not.

*The music is by Kevin Riepl, my favourite music composer

The models are 100% mine, made from simple boxes, cylinders and other primitives. I've work ed on heaps of other experimental scenes (Reactor - Ragdoll Physics is really fun to play with)

Thanks!

MOD EDIT: I removed the first file (which was not a rar part) because my firewall was flaggin it as something malicious. Sorry if that was a false alert. Maybe post the video on google or youtube and make everyone's life easier -thanks

thanks admin

I used 3D Studio Max btw

well i followed the tutorial here:

http://www.tutorialscentral.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=36&Itemid=28

*I just modified a few settings like colour

and once i had the holographic version, i merged my original back into the scene and used a slice modifier. Then i animated the modifier so that one instance would disappear as the other appears in its spot (play around with the gizmo until it fits.) I also broke up the ship into parts like the wings, tail, chassis, cockpit, etc and animated them to separate. Took me a while to think of using the slice modifier.

Hope that helped, ask if there's anythin u want me to collaborate on

They do say, Mrs M, that verbal abuse hurts more than physical pain. They are wrong, however, as you will son find out when i stick this toasting fork in your head
