I have an idea that may work, but i have 2 questions,

Is it possible, on cammand, to pull up a pic
If so
I could make a picture of an ironsight, and it would be helpfull if someone could make me(and other ppl) a command so we could pull up the iron sight on command

well there are allready 3 iron sight models that work in FPSC

Iron sight mp40
Iron sight thompson
Iron sight colt.45

You can find these if you search in the fpscmedia board. They work like standard weapons so it would be possible to have a thompson and iron sight thompson so when you switch it would look like you are going into iron sight aiming.

There is also an explination to remove the crosshair to make it more realistic.

Actually just make a full-screen HUD that comes up when you press I or something. But this may only work if you have 1 gun in the game and you would have to black out the edges of the screen a lot. Easier to make it a scope.

well maybe we could edit the scope images and pictures, so when you click the mouse ball to zoom into scope, instead it would bring up an ironsight. Well out of my depth though :/ maybe you should ask someone like the butterfingers >__>

Don't forget, that in FPSC crosshairs (including scopes) are semi-transparent and there is no muzzle-flash when scoped. (but maybe it wasrepired, but I'm not sure)

Make games, not war.

the biggest problem is you can use the mouse wheel to zoom in 10X

Damn :/ if only fpsc was as cheesy as games like cod3 where there is only one level of zoom for snipers

I think there is a way to cap the zoom, as all guns dont zoom in to the same extent, maybe check the fpi. file for that weapon.

EDIT: wait :/ i didnt say right click lol! i meant use the mouse wheel (in between left and right click) to change weapon, so in theory it would look like you changed from thompson to thompson-ADS.

:/ but then you have the problem of switching from a gun, to the same gun but in Aim Down Sight.

Well as far as i can see these are the only solutions that present themselves to me:

1. Use the ADS models and remove the not iron sighted guns
2. Use both iron sighted guns and normal guns, and switch from normal to aim down sight.
3. Make a trigger zone that makes a HUD appear with the image of an aimed down sight gun and then only use the trigger zone when you think the player would want accuracy
4. Have a gun thats zoom is an iron sight (Need to fix the zoom levels though)

I have heard of a button that makes a objectives screen come up (through scripting) however they said that my grenade button idea would not work, so i doubt making a button for aim down sight would work either, but its something to look into.
