Someone once made a game where you could pick a certain side (like going americans or british) Does anyone else know how to do this because I am making an army game of americans vs germans.

Make a multiplayer game, allow 4 people to join.

name your 4 charecters:

1-(Allies)-Rifleman
2-(Allies)-Rifleman
3-(Axis)-submachinegunner
4-(Axis)-Submachinegunner

remember that its just a name, player 3 and 4 could still kill eachother, but thats the way you would do it as there is no "real" side selection support.

Imean when on the menu screen. you press "New game" and it says
Do you want to be americans or Germans.

:S you would need to make a custom menu using dark basic that gave you the option of loading 2 exe's, one being a game as allies and one being a game as germans :/

I suggested that idea. however you would need a menu that looks like this:

SIDE SELECTION

AMERICANS (loads game 1)

GERMANS (loads game 2)

which would need to be coded in dark basic.

Or you could just have 2 exe's. I suppose it would look scruffy but it does the exact same job without the need for DB or DBpro
