3 Dimensional Chat / Milkshape Problem

I mirrored my persons right hand in milkshape, then when I loaded him in DB the mirrored left hand did not show up, even though the rest of the modle did. Can somone help?

Make sure the group name is NOT longer than 10 letters

I think you might have to reverse the order of the points for all the polygons in your mirrored hand. Can't remember exactly but having the points ordered one way (clockwise or anticlockwise) makes them face outward and the other way inward. I don't know which way is which.

Are the fingers a separate group as well ? . if so then rename them like the hand ( less than 10 letters )

failing that >> select the faces of the hand so they are all RED ... and regroup it again + rename it to less that 10 letters.

I personally try to keep my group names to a MAX of 8 letters ( so try that )

@Madbilly ..... thats not his problem ( reversed faces that is ) he's just duplicated + flipped a hand.

The long name is the problem .... his model is getting truncated.
