Hi, i want to ask how to import the bump mapping into my entity when i'm converting it to a fpsc reday entity, am i just putting the bumpmap texture along with my entity in the entity folder?

I will appreciate all sorts of help please.

No you have to do it like this.

make a normal map...(obvious)

Name it to:

(.....)_N.dds

So all your textures has to be like this:

texture_D2.dds (original texture,which would be shown)
texture_N.dds (normal map)
texture_S.dds (specular map)


You have to create a specular map which is actually just a greyscale of the original texture.
With some lightin up areas that you want to catch the light.
And some darker spots etc etc....


Eventually, when you have done all that.
Create the entity.

In the FPE file set to texture the d2 as the main texture.

As effect...dont remember


and your done....


I never knew that i had to create a specular map for this.
but thanks to Mr Flawelkohf (is that spelled right?)

Thanks, now my friend will found it easier to make maps for the models to my game!

And again, thanks! PS, the game is named Footsteps and is a horror game..I can say no more 'til it's finished.
