as many as you want. But the game will generally lag on a good system with 3 or more in one area.

Read nickydudes guide it has loads of good advice and tips.

You will find that you can get more enemies if you spawn them at different points using trigger zones.

i can have about 20 characters in a room with no lag and they attack on x9(at the same time..)

Whoa!?! Is your computer the size of a shed? I can only have about 5 and that makes the framerate slump to about 20fps!

I can have not more than 4 enemies in a room. The trick is to separate them with walls.

if i was u id buy myself a really expensave laptop
windows vista and upgrade to direct x 10


or.... just make sure not to have to many entites in a room with
enemys

ps ima noob and its just my opinion

remember killing gets messy
