I actually prefer the shotgun at the moment, the tavor is too much of a cardboard cutout, try box modelling or just chamfering the edges, it will help.

Yes, and that is mainly what it is, most of that gun is just a spline outlined around an image which has been extruded. It's ok for a 3rd model, but it can still have improvement.

Yes, I said 'most' of the gun is, I know you did some boolean and stuff aswell.
