3 Dimensional Chat / Making a 3D environment...

So if i want to make a 3D environment in a building but i want to make it based on a particular place how would i do it? If i had photo's of the walls and floor can i intergrate it into the program?

Sorry i really dont understand much of what you said. I think you talk about creating an interia for a house. This is simple just model an inside. Then when you talk about puting an image in a piece of software. I think you mean texture. You can either texture it face by faceor use a UV maper wich is a little mroe advanced.

It's not as hard as it seems, or at least it isn't for me. I find modeling buildings a lot easier than any other object.

If those images you are talking about are reference images then that would help because you can load them into your modeling program in the background and use that as a reference (or just have it in another window altogether).

If those images you are talking about are meant to be textures then it depends. If it's a perfect, seamless, top down picture then sure. But if not you might have to make one yourself, which can get pretty tricky.

if you are trying to modal a building interior exactly, it would be much easer to use the original drawings as the ref images. failing this you would haft to make your own drawings by measuring everything

learn blender, you will never regret it.

yeh i just want to make a level but based on a certain place so it looks like real life... can it be done?
