Are there any FPSC books, manuals sold for instance by Amazon in the market? 3D gamestudio has a books one can get from Amazon.
A .pdf manual is not so easy to use as reference unless you have two computers one where you are running your own test game the other with Acrobat running.

I am sure that many of us would buy such a book if it existed

Why don't you print it out and get it bound?

That's exactly what I've done with my guide, into a pretty little booklet

Nickydude, have you thought about selling your guide as a booklet? Charge for the paper, as the guide is already free. I'm sure people would buy it, especially people without printers.

Great idea ! by the time I print in color (and I have 2 printers and 4 PC's in my office) the FPSC manual (96 pgs) and the Hints and Tips (116) I will have used a complete color cartrige and your binder ius after all ..... a binder not a real bound as in a book.

Anyway I am interested in the FPSC Manual not so much the tips.

Higgins you are right I would buy it but specially the Manual

The hints and tips guide will teach you more than the manual I think.

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.

Then Nickydude will run out of ink
put it on a cd and hand it to a printer ask him to bind it or simply staple the thing, after postage, ink and time spent for someone to do this it would probably work out cheaper anyway.

Well I chose 'fast draft' quality, printed with black ink only and I used hardly any ink... anyway it was just a suggestion...

Would people really be interested in buying a full-colour bound copy if I added more stuff?

The BIG problem with the FPS Manual is that the pdf file is formatted with 2 pages per page in landscape, that means that you cannot bind the booklet as Nickydude shows up here with the Hints and Tips (which is formatted in single pages)
Now I have Adobe 8 and Adobe 6 pro and I cannot separate the 2- pages-in-one-page format.

Is there anyway I can get the FPS manual in single page pdf or any other darn file format>???????????

Attached is a copy of the manual as requested. I can't remember who fixed it this way. I'm sure someone here will know who to thank.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

The manual was reformatted by Skycubes (Frank Decker). It does make it a heck of a lot easier to read.

Please have mercy and use the search function.
