hi,
I have the darkmatter sampler and when i try to append the animations they..it says "could not append object to model".
????
I dont get it! Plese help!

I haven't appended the animations for many years. As far as I can remember, some work, and others do not. It has to do with the number of limbs I think.

If you are appending two objects they must have the exact same limbs or it wont work, not sure if limb names comes into it.

Seems OK to me. The limb names must be the same so make a program to load both models and print their limb names using
PERFORM CHECKLIST FOR OBJECT LIMBS object_number
and then
CHECKLIST STRING$(Item_Number)

If the limb names are the same then I'm stumped.

I've been looking in the help file and found there is also an APPEND OBJECT ANIMATION
Have you tried that?
Sorry I don't know much about 3D

neather of them work. about append object animation....do i have to save the animation as a .dat or something? i'd really like to use'em.
