Wow, long time since I posted anything here =)

The official demo should be out any day now, it's a little delayed due to some technical problems. Astral Entertainment is now taking preorders for the CD TML is part of. And the 2 old wallpapers have been hotted up. I'll see when I can get up some new shots from the full game. Go visit my site and check it all out =)

Thanks =) Well there have been others before TML. And I use DBP, it's way more powerful then old DB1. Seems like you missed the beta testing of the demo, it's not avalible anymore but the official one will be soon.

@DG

Excellent stuff. I might just consider that one

Just curious, but have you managed to shorten the load times a bit? - They were getting a bit annoying (although nowhere near as bad as the other one in the competition (written in B3D), a terrain, a sphere and a castle should not take 20 seconds to load). Where possible use LOAD MESH for static objects as it is much faster than LOAD OBJECT.

Well, it's for 5 games (hopefully) =) You must have missed the beta testing as it was filled with music, sounds and voices. You'll see (or hear) when the official demo is downloadable.

Rob:
Great =)

If you got an ATI card then the loading time should be faster now cause I'm using patch 4.1. The unloading is amazingly fast though. There are no static objects in TML and there are around 250-400 objects loaded in at once as well as almost 6MB of data for the map and all the voices.

@DG

I didn't have an ATI card when I last tested it. When I said static objects I meant things like the shops.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes, They got them hoppy legs & twitchy little noses,
And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?

hehee (^_^) well i look forward to the new demo, probably see about preordering over the next week ... cause it certainly does seem cool

last demo i tried the loading was slow but i think that was p3.0 wasn't it? so p4.1 should be alot faster

Rob:
Yeah, but the way I did the engine I can't make them static, don't ask =) Well, I'm not sure if it will load faster or not. At least saving and loading is lightning fast =) Unless you load a game from another act.

Kang:
Nice =) However you save money by preordering, no shipping and handling cost.

Rav:
Nice and thanks =) No idea what patch I was using on the demo you tried.
