I have had some display problems with Wings 3D and Hexagon 2 on our new computer. In wings 3D, regardless of the type of view, my cube(that I was going to start modeling off of) appears as a wireframe. If I click the "Show objects with smooth shading" option, my cube dissapears completely, still clickable and editable, but in neither case is this reasonably easy, because I can't see all the lines, vertices, etc properly. In Hexagon, the problems are less, the main one I noticed is that when I UV Map and try to texture my object using the UV Paint, it either doesn't put the texture on, or it doesn't look right to me. The hexagon issue could just be a product of ignorance, because I am still very new to hexagon and its layout.
Here are some specs on my computer:

Manufacturer: eMachines
Model: W3619
Processor: Intel Celeron D CPU 3.6GHz
RAM: 512mb
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
Windows Vista Home Basic

Sadly I'm still not good at getting very detailed specs on computers unless I actually got all the parts myself
If there's any extra info needed let me know what it is, and how to get it, and I'll do my best.

Though Hexagon is still quite buggy (Hence I'm moving onto Silo 2 myself), the reason for that is probably:

After UVMapping - you need to go into the material editor, apply a new material to it and in that material, set the setting to a texture of a specified size to make a new texture for it and you'll be able to paint on the model - probably in your errors you forgot about this. As for the 'not looking right' - if the frame doesn't update itself with a current update - that's a display bug, which I think they fixed in update 2.2 (now downloadable) or it could be one due to polygons in the UVMap overlapping.

As for Wings3D...completely clueless - update your display/Graphics drivers? Or an unsupported graphics card?
