Is there an avi to fmv converter or a .fmv codec?

I need to convert an avi in to fmv.

Thank you in advance!

Well the avi is done in lightwave if that helps.

I tried Google but couldn't find anything, except that the .fmv extension seems to be ancient. (Older than Santa Claus even)

well, back then fmv was just sort of a catchall for video, its outdated now. Most commercial games these days use bink video

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Could you make an .fmv with bink?

bink is a codec, its just a different way of encoding a video.

if you're using DBP, i'd just stick to avi encoded with divX or xvid

I don't have a sig, live with it.
