this is my first post so go easy on me

me & a mate of mine are trying to put together a model pack
of mini cars ,we hope to have 3 different versions standard ,convertable & dammaged .all with different colors .

we have high poly high res models finished & hope to scale them down for fpsc .

so heres where we need some help

what sort of size do they need to be ? (poly)

what tools do we need to make them fpsc ready ?

& the big one would you want to buy the pack ?

take a look at the screenie to see what it looks like right now
post any comment that you think will help

Welcome to the forums.

But from the look at the screenie its waaayyy to much poly.
Think about when you make a model (static) that size it has to be around the...
i dont know 1500.

I think people would buy it if its low poly,
And also i dont think it is possible to use real cars...
with their names on it.
Copyright issues and such.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Welcome to the Forum Henry Ham

Really great models & screenies you have.
You should download 'Entity Maker' from the 'files' tab which can be found on the FPSCreator main web page. This comes with some video tutorials which should give you the basic idea on how to get your models when scaled down, into FPSCreator.
I think that if you were to create a few more types of cars for your pack it would sell much better.
After all, when you walk down the road you see different kinds of cars not just mini's.
Nevertheless, your models look great.

All the best of luck with this venture

What you need to do is do muchos downscaling, and produce a .x file (DirectX format.) Also, you need one complete texture to cover the whole car, and if you like a bump map, a specular map, a normal map and an illumination map.

Is that the only car you have?
If not....then post some other screenshots
of other cars.

Also its to much poly for FPSC.
And you should make some ingame screenies or this will be locked,
or moved to 3d chat.
