Maybe you should read through all the tutorials, there's one dedicated to making your first FPS, and it's well written.

Also, try not to quadruple post.

When you start DBP, go to the help menu. you should one section under the help marked as tutorials. That is a simple FPS. If you bought the boxed version, it should also be in the manual.

It is not an indepth FPS, but it should get your feet on the ground.

Making nothing for the forth straight year.

The one written by RUCCUS (search for "Newcomers FPS tutorial), and the ones sticked at the top of the board. They will provide you with a wealth of knowledge.
